Julie and Jimmy’s wedding wasn’t one I was completely sold on booking when they first inquired. I mean, if it didn’t sound like it was going to be a fun event, why would I want to spend my birthday photographing it? But as we talked more and more, their wedding sounded like a fun, unique event and definitely a great way to spend my birthday. They came up with a great term for their wedding which got us all laughing: It was going to be a “Jew-ish” wedding, meaning it would have some of the traditional Jewish wedding elements, without going all the way to a full orthodox wedding. That still meant plenty of yelling of “Mazel Tov!!” and getting everyone up on chairs during the Hora at the reception.
It turned out to be an amazing event, complete with a gorgeous setup and details, hilarious moments, and lots of great dancing to the sounds of the Atlanta Party Band. Julie and Jimmy even put my initials (J+J) on their wedding cake (although it did fit their initials as well)! How can you top that for a birthday!
Thanks again for having us guys!!
