I’m pretty sure if we had decided to get married down in Charleston 3 years ago, we would have had a very similar wedding to Heather and Alex. Held at the absolutely stunning Creek Club at Ion in Mt. Pleasant, the wedding definitely had a great mix of old fashioned charm with modern touches. Heather and Alex are from Upstate New York as well, and their families definitely reminded of ours as well. And in true New York wedding fashion, no one left early.

We started off with the heather and her 4 sisters as they got ready at the Jacob Bond house B&B nearby. Being the youngest of the 5, this was not a new process to the group and they all had a lot of fun getting Heather into her dress. Afterwards everyone headed over to the waterfront Creek Club at Ion, located in an absolutely stunning community in Mt. Pleasant, just over the bridge from downtown Charleston. After a short ceremony we went out to make some breathtaking photos around the property (which is a dream for a photographer!). Afterwards everyone danced the night away until a sparkler laced exit finished the night.
