When I first sat down with Reagan and Trey to talk about their wedding I had a good feeling about them, not just because they were likely going to hire me to shoot the wedding, but because they were the kind of people I could see developing a friendship with. And over the coming months, that is exactly what happened. Between shooting their engagement session at City Scape Winery, several dinners and parties later, it was just one of those awesome surprises.
I knew it was going to be incredible wedding. After all, we had spent the months before talking all about it, the ups and the downs, the fun and the stressful, the hilarious and the sad parts. Even though the week leading up the wedding wasn’t a particularly good one for Reagan and Trey, they put those things aside and had “without a doubt the single best day & night of my life” – as Reagan wrote on her Facebook page shortly after.
With the backdrop of Hurricane Matthew’s leftovers, the Old Cigar Warehouse looked particularly dramatic. Inside, Reagan picked out some incredible decor, complete with her own beautifully detailed dress from Anthropologie. Emotions ran high as Reagan saw her dad, and then Trey for the first time. A short, but beautiful ceremony in front of a lighted backdrop lead us to some incredible food and dancing. A truly incredible time for two incredible people!
Thanks again guys! It was truly an honor and I hope you LOVE Greece!
