It’s always flattering when we get asked to get to photograph someone’s wedding. It’s even more flattering to be asked by another wedding photographer. I mean, that basically makes me a wedding photographer’s photographer. That sounds pretty cool. I mean that’s like the surgeon that operates on the surgeon. Or the dentist who fills the other dentist’s cavity. It’s probably the ultimate compliment you can pay someone of your profession. Debra and I certainly didn’t take that lightly this past weekend at Andrew and Lauren’s wedding.
We started off with Lauren, making some awesome images of her finishing up getting ready for the big day. Afterwards we headed to the Cliffs at Glassy Clubhouse for some pictures of the bridal party before the ceremony just minutes away at the iconic Cliffs at Glassy Chapel. Afterwards we couldn’t help but climb up to the top of the mountain and make some gorgeous images as the sunset. Shortly after we headed to the Cliffs Valley Clubhouse for their reception. It was a night filled with plenty of great food, toasts, dancing, and a sparkler filled exit. Throughout the whole thing, Andrew and Lauren couldn’t have read our minds more. Even though the whole day flew by for us, photography came first, a decision I’m sure they will be happy they made down the road. Check it out:
