I’ll never forget when I first met Sarah. It was a cool fall morning, around 48° and she was standing barefoot waiting for someone to come unlock table rock lodge. When I asked where her shoes were, she told Deb and I that she doesn’t wear shoes. Really?? I asked. Nope, only when I am forced to. And sure enough, Sarah went barefoot the whole day. We walked all through the woods, down the street, and even climbed a few rocks… all with no shoes needed.
The no-shoes feel definitely fit the wedding well. It was a laid back day with a beautiful and intimate ceremony, followed by a southern meal, and some dancing, cake, and speeches. Table rock lodge set the perfect backdrop with the fall leaves lighting up the background beautifully. With or without shoes on, its hard to deny it was a beautiful day indeed.
Thanks again for having us guys!!
