The glass was laying on the floor, the vows had been said, the bride veiled, the blessings given, the rings exchanged, the Katuba signed, all that was left was a stomp and a loud “Mazel Tov!” And then it happened. You see this wasn’t your typical wedding. This was a traditional Jewish Orthodox wedding. And it was an absolute blast.
Held at the beautiful Hyatt Recency in the heart of downtown Greenville, South Carolina, the day was an amazing mix of traditions, un-traditions, family, friends, and of course plenty of great drinks and dancing. And man can these guys dance. If you’ve ever been to a Jewish wedding before, you know what I’m talking about. The kind where everyone and their grandma gets up, holds hands and dances circles around the bride and groom. Then the bride and groom get up on chairs. Although the groom didn’t last long up there this time, it was still an amazing sight and a blast to capture. I’ll let the photos tell the rest.
Thanks again for having us!!

You could easily sum up Haley and Derek’s wedding day with just one word, and as cliche as it sounds, that word would be would definitely be “perfect.” Now before you say to yourself, “He’s just saying that to be nice” you have to take a step back and see all that went on that day.
First off, we show up to an absolutely stunning house overlooking the South Carolina mountains for everyone to get ready in. Haley is happy, gorgeous, and excited for the day. The details are phenomenal and meaningful. The gorgeous lighting is pouring through the huge windows as everyone gets ready for the day. Afterwards, we head up to one of the most beautiful wedding ceremony chapel’s I’ve ever seen to meet up with Derek, who is also looking quite excellent and is beyond excited for the day’s events. An emotional and beautiful ceremony unfolds before their friends and family. We climb to the mountaintop to take advantage of some of the best scenery in South Carolina. Afterwards we head to the stunning Cliffs Valley Clubhouse for a reception filled with plenty of fun, laughs, great food, and dancing to fill the night. Top it all off with an intimate private last dance and sparkler exit and you definitely have one of the most perfect weddings I’ve ever experienced. Everything from the scenery, to the people, to the decor, to the emotions, I don’t think I’ve ever seen it all come together so well. Haley and Derek – Thank you for officially spoiling me.
Thanks again for having us guys!! We had a blast!

I’m still trying to wrap my brain around all the amazing things we got to see, taste, and experience last month in Europe. Seriously, it was one of the best trips of my life and definitely one that will shape my outlook on life going forward.
We spent 19 days touring around Italy, Greece, Turkey, and the small island country of Malta. We went to 11 different locations including Rome, Naples, Sorrento, Valletta, Athens, Mykonos, Ephesus, Santorini, Rhodes, Olympia, and finally, Venice. We got to ride donkey’s up the cliff at Santorini, have lunch with some of our videographer friends in Athens, run in the same stadium as the first Olympians did, see where the Pope lives, try some Mediterranean octopus, walk the same roads as Paul did in Ephesus, and meet up with Debra’s Greek grandfather in Mykonos.
Besides it being an incredibly eye opening lesson on culture, it also put me right in the middle of some of the most beautiful artwork, architecture, and natural surroundings available in the world. Inspiration overload. And lucky for you I lugged my Nikon D4 along to capture it. Enjoy!
