Most wedding blogs like to always talk about how everything always went perfect. The flowers were just stunning, the weather was perfect, the kids were all well behaved. Well sometimes that doesn’t always happen. Sometimes the minister is an hour and fifteen minutes late, the kids are acting up, and its absolutely freezing out. And you know what? That’s ok! That’s what makes the wedding unique, beautiful, and… YOURS. No one ever can have that experience again, and as long as you roll with it, I’m sure you will enjoy it just as much as if everything went perfect.
Enter in Patrick and Tanna. And yes, their minister was an hour and fifteen minutes late, their kids were acting up, and oh yes… it was freezing up there at Symmes Chapel overlooking the Blue Ridge Mountains. But you know what, we got though it, and they now have some pretty unique memories to start their marriage with… something that no one else can say they have.
Thanks again for having me guys! I wish you both the best in the future!
I’ve always enjoyed getting to photograph other photographer’s weddings. Yea sure, sometimes its stressful, but its always cool when they are like “hey don’t worry, I know what your trying to do.” They just get it. And they usually invite other photographers who also “get it.”
Caroline and Adam got married this past weekend at the beautiful Westin Poinsett here in Downtown Greenville, SC. Before you ask, let me guess your next question. Was it Beauty and the Beast themed? Why yes, yes you are correct! And no, Gaston did not play a part. Unfortunately, there were also no dancing kitchen objects present. They did dance to “tale as old as time” though and it has been stuck in my head ever since. So thanks for that! Haha, I do have to say though, the Gold Room at the Westin really fit the theme well, and it definitely came off a lot classier than I was expecting! Gorgeous centerpieces, a stunningly fitting cake, and some excellent lighting all really came together to give an awesome effect and set the stage for an awesome day.
Thanks again for having me guys! A big thanks to all the vendors who helped put this on:
