In the middle of a South Carolina summer there are hot days, and then there are sweltering days. You know, the ones where you walk outside and just start dripping. Even though we did Sarah and Michael’s photos later in the day, it was one of those days you just can’t wait to have a cold glass of wine and a shower after. I wasn’t there for the shower portion, but I did get to help Sarah and Michael out with some tasty local wine during the shoot! We had a blast exploring all over Cedar Falls Park and City Scape Winery making some awesome images, and I can’t wait for the wedding!
Kasey and Jason’s wedding was just one of those weddings that is just fun all the way from start to finish. With most of the guests coming in from Texas, it was a blast to show everyone just how amazing South Carolina is, and I can’t think of a better place to do it!
We started out at the Hampton Inn River Place where everyone got ready for the day’s events. After a few photos around Falls Park, we headed to the always stunning Cliffs at Glassy Chapel. Even a little rain didn’t spoil the fun as we took a few photos and the skies cleared up shortly after. Everyone headed to the Cliffs at Glassy Clubhouse for a beautiful reception filled with delicious food, touching speeches, and some awesome music by the band OnLive! Check it out!!
Thanks again guys!! I had a blast!

It’s weddings like these that really make me love what I do. Kati and Graham’s wedding was all about showing love to others, great food and drinks, and just having a lot of fun!
Held at Zen in the heart of Greenville’s growing West End, it was the perfect backdrop for their wedding. With some quick getting ready photos at the Westin Poinsett, I met up with the guys down at Zen for a few photos before the all to frequent afternoon thunderstorm rolled through. Luckily, it finished up just in time for us to go out and capture that beautiful after-rain lighting for their photos. Inside everyone was treated to plenty of great food, music, and beverages before the party started. They also had a little visitor about halfway through their reception, I’ll let you scroll down to find out who it was!
There is always something fun about getting do to bridal portraits: The look on mom’s face, the beautiful flowers, and getting to see the bride all ready before anyone else will. Then comes the downside: Making all these incredible images and not being able to show them off to the world.
Now that Kati is officially married (and filling up my facebook feed with beautiful honeymoon photos!), I can finally show these to the world. We met up on a beautiful day this past April in downtown Greenville to create them. Can’t wait to post the wedding photos very soon!
