Mia and Alex are smart. Not only are they both super talented engineers, they are also smart about how to design an incredible wedding. Although they live about five hours away in New Bern, NC, they always wanted to have a wedding near the mountains. After touring dozens of wedding venues they came to the same conclusion my wife and I did, they loved the unique garden setting that Twigs Tempietto has to offer, and decided to hold their wedding there.

With the wedding being a destination for most of their guests, this made sure that just the real close family members and friends were in attendance. We started off with everyone getting ready at the beautifully remodeled Embassy Suites on Verdae. After their intimate first look and some photos around the hotel grounds and we headed over to Twigs Tempietto for their reception. With some small and beautiful touches, the tempietto looked beautiful as everyone danced the night away. Check it out:
